Atto Muto
Atto Muto (Mute Act, 2007) recovers the ancient tradition of the erotic-pornographic oral storytelling. Orality went beyond text censorship, performatively disappeared in the instant it was told. Sexuality and orality trace an anatomical linear course that goes from the orifices below to the orifices above. The history of the desire is a history of holes to fill and empty. Every act tells about a love story, between a woman and her mother, incest; between a mother and her fetus, fetism (not existing yet as an officially decoded paraphilia); between a woman and an animal, zoophilia. As Franco Berardi (aka Bifo) told, speaking about the project: "Sex is almost reduced to silence. While everywhere we uninterruptedly talk about sex, sex doesn't talk anymore. It is the mute act." This artwork litterally try to let speak the act deeper than our imagination is used to do.
